If I sit idol long enough, maybe the doubt will pass.
If it's a question of dedication, then it'll last.
I'll make room to be avoided, pull the brake fast.
Push the window wide open, let the dust pass.
I guess it's easier to be preoccupied with you.
To let a memory grow until I think it's fucking huge.
Until it's heavier than anything I thought was true.
Until the flash is years and sleep is all I want to do.

But I'm afraid of the outcome, the static, the snow.
Nothing matters now, because everything is happening slow.
Somehow, or for some reason, I don't care anymore.
This is heavy shit, I don't really want it to go.

So now I'm wondering if I'm remembering things right.
And I can picture a photo crossing my line of sight.
I don't know if it's true or if it's a rewrite,
But more and more it seems it's becoming something I don't like.
So what does that mean, a lapse is now a penalty.
And every memory is suddenly a casualty.
It's like the subtly is taken as disloyalty.
But this emergency is faulty and it takes energy.

But I'm afraid of the outcome, the static, the snow.

So maybe this is terribly uncomfortable for you to see.
Presumably, you've got something, some other place you need to be.
If you're discrete I guess we'll see the cleanest way would be to leave.
And we could walk away all pleased, avoiding further injuries.
